My friend Amy Bright asked me to design a book cover for a collection of essays she edited, called Curious, if True. Her YA novel (which was her undergrad thesis) also just got published! It’s called Before We Go.

Okay, so I’m not really an illustrator or a designer, so go easy on me, but I am pretty happy about it considering I have no clue what I am doing, haha.

I was lucky to be asked to be in Light Grey Art Lab’s upcoming show Pokémon: Battle Royale. There are 151 artists in the show (one for each pokémon!), which runs from April 16th - May 11th, 2012.

My pokémon is Clefable - a “fairy” pokémon and supposedly one of the rarest in the world. I figured a cool biker girl gang from the Kanto region would totally make it their mascot.
